UOC container unit

The modular construction containers named UOC, for use as living quarters are designed according to ISO standards, patented, suitable for road, train, ship and air transportation. Their high handling flexibility and reliability are the features appreciated during emergency operations. The lifting jacks are integrated in the structural frame of the containers in order to give selflifting capabilities (loading and unloading on trucks).
Different outfits for general and special applications, for military and civil purposes, for tropical, continental and artic environments are supplied. Various applications are:

ARIS has designed and produced SHELTERS according to international standards such as UEO, NATO, ISO. The construction system for the UEO NATO shelters consists basically of light alloy sandwich panels, ISO-type corner structures and skids.
ARIS can provide any kind of internal accomodation and accessories according to the customer needs. Shelters produced by ARIS can be built in accordance with the following protection requirements: EMI/RFI, EMP, TEMPEST and ballistic.download100

SHELTER-LAB NBC

ARIS fits out shelters for special purposes.
The SHELTER-LAB NBC shelters are built to the ISO 20 ft and 668 1C standard and are prepared by ARIS as field laboratories for highly specialized NBC analysis, suited to be easily deployed and used in the field independently.
The module is divided into 4 different rooms:

  • technical room (accessible from the outside) with the equipment for the proper functioning of the
  • module and the subsistence of personnel operating inside.
  • dressing / undressing room complete with cabinets and chemical toilets
  • decontamination room with shower.

Laboratory room with analytical instrumentation and equipment needed to conduct the processes of contaminants identification.
The premises are properly pressurized through a system with differential pressure, where the laboratory has always a higher pressure (or less depending on the absolute value) compared to the other rooms and the external environment.
The SHELTER-LAB NBC are designed, manufactured and fitted out to safely operate in NBC contaminated areas, in compliance with international military standards and customer specifications.

ASTM Ammunition Storage Module

The ASTM container (Ammunition STorage Module) complies with ISO 668 Standard 1C dimensions and with international standards for explosive transport and storage.
It has been designed and developed to meet the following requirements:
to safely preserve the explosive devices stored below critical temperatures, by exploiting passive conditioning (no need to use power generator and air conditioning systems) to withstand deflagration of the material stored through safeguarding people and goods outside; it can be placed in equipped compound with reduced minimum safety distances to comply with armouring protection rules – STANAG 4569 required level (standard version is Level 1 compliant)
Conditions of use: external temperature from -32°C to +49°C.
Technical characteristics:

  • loading capacity 11100 kg (depending on armouring protection level)
  • volume 18,5 m3
  • floor surface 8,8 m².

TPA90

Specifically designed to move today’s corporate and military aircraft, the ARIS TPA90 Multipurpose Tractor range is the most effective and high performing vehicle on the military specialized market.
The range diversifies from one heavier model (HD), 54000 N (12140 lb) drawbar pull capacity, to a lighter model (L) up to 30000N (6750 lb) drawbar pull capacity.
Due to its modular architecture, the 90 series meets different operational requirements in the frame of the airport logistic, with the following options:

  • rear wheel drive or four wheel drive
  • drive line with national or international brand engines, diesel (F-54) or kerosene (F34) type according to Stanag 4362
  • engine power from 70 to 96 kW
  • mechanical transmission, with electric or automatic starting, with torque converter or hydrostatic with continuous change converter
  • front steering system or AWD performing:
  • opposed angle to obtain the minimum steering radius
  • same direction for side movements
  • possible use of only front or rear tyres, for conventional driving
  • full leaf spring suspension or independent wheel suspension (only for L models).

The 90 series range offers the following features:

  • disk brake system on the four single wheels
  • tilting engine hood
  • tilting cabin (or cabin base in case of soft top) for easy access to transmission items
  • ergonomic operator seat and hydraulic power steering allowing smooth and safe operations
  • large use of “off-the-shelf” components thereby reducing the recurring maintenance operations
  • max transfer speed changing according to the model and higher than 33-36 km/h

VBR NBC armoured vehicle

ARIS carried out the general overhaul, adaptation and modernization of the VBR NBC reconnaissance armored car to improve its operations, performance, security, reliability and ease of use.
ARIS designed and implemented the modernization with the repowering of the VBR NBC armored car, choosing and installing a new powerful turbo diesel engine, a new transmission and cooling unit, a new brake system, upgrading the sprinkler system and changing the axles in order to install new wheels, interchangeable with the Centauro vehicle.

VAM 420P tank pumper vehicle

ARIS carried out the modernization and safety upgrading of the 4×4 VAM 420P fire-fighting vehicle to improve its operations, performance, security, reliability and ease of use.
ARIS designed and built the repowering of 4×4 VAM 420P vehicle, choosing and installing a new powerful turbo diesel engine with its cooling system. ARIS provided the customer the complete upgrade kit with detailed instructions to perform autonomously the adjustments on all VAM 420P vehicles in use.

TORO

TORO is a Precise, TacticaI Mobile Power Generator designed, developed and manufactured by ARIS for Spada, Nike and Hawk  systems. Simultaneous dual-frequency output: 50 and 400 hertz. The alternator speciflcally designed for dual-frequency output (50 and 400 hertz), can provide up to 75 kW at 50 Hz and 45kW at 400 Hz.
Operation environment: -32 °C to + 54 °C, with maximum power up to 3000 m altitude. Automatic shut-on/ shut-off capability. Maximum power generation in Iess than ten seconds from start up. Modular automatic operation in parallel with other generator sets, providing continuously up to 225 kW in the standard configuration.
The electronic modular management and control unit with BlT capability checks the power output and monitors the voltage and frequency stability within the Iimits with every Ioad. In addition, the management and control unit monitors the main functional parameters with automatic shut- off capability in case of power generator malfunctions.
The electronic management allows the instant absorption of the Ioad changes without affecting the performances. It can be transported:

  • on monoaxle trailer with variable trim pneumatic suspensions
  • on off-road tactical truck, – on C27J and C130 cargo aircrafts.

In its logistic configuration it can supply up to 120 kW – 50 Hz, single frequency and up to 7 Power Generators can be paralleled to reach a total continuous power of 840 kW.download5

PGU

PGU are a new series of compact and light silence or supersilenced generators designed to fit shelter/container based applications. The system modularity allows integration into complex systems, transportation carts or statical uses.The PGU is entirely manufactured in light alloy and is composed of the following parts:

  • Base
  • Engine group (Diesel engine, liquid cooling system, fed by turbocompressor)
  • Transmission
  • Alternator group. PGU 85 features: 1 three-phase 50Hz alternator, 1 three-phase 400 Hz alternator
  • Battery group
  • Heater
  • Fuel supply system (tank capacity up to 250 l)
  • Local Control Command Board (LCCB) inclusive of the power supply board
  • Remote Control Command Board (RCCB)
  • Case.

The PGU series, can be supplied in different configurations, in accordance with the customer’s needs, thanks to a vast range of accessories to optimize the compliance with the requirement.
PGU 85 is the first generator originating the PGU series, featuring a double frequence (50 and 400 Hz) supply system, manufactured for the use in radar systems. Main features:
